Waste bin scanning and measurement software(SGSharp)
1Product Introduction
SGSharpIt is a specialized software developed by Beijing Zhongzhi Nuclear Safety Technology Co., Ltd. for measuring the activity of bottled radioactive waste. It uses high-purity germanium probes to quantitatively measure the activity of radioactive nuclides in waste bins. By controlling the rotation of the waste bin and segmenting the axial measurement of the bin, measurement errors caused by uneven distribution of substances in the bin can be eliminated. Using the patented energy spectrum analysis algorithm independently developed by Zhongzhi Nuclear Safety, the measurement energy spectrum can be analyzed to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results

It can be used as a universal supporting software for the segmented scanning system of bottled radioactive waste.
IIISGSharpsoftwarecharacteristic
lHaving completely independent intellectual property rights, we can provide users with maintenance, repair and other technical services during the measurement process at any time;
lThere are two scanning methods to choose from: segmented gamma scanning method(SGS and spiral gamma scanning method (HGS);
luseThe Monte Carlo method accurately calculates the efficiency scale factor, improving the measurement accuracy;
lThe software system has high integration, and can simultaneously control and self check mechanical and electronic systems on the main control computer, complete calibration, measurement, analysis, output, and report generation;
lThe software system has a fully Chinese interface and is easy to operate and learn;
lCustomized development can be carried out according to user needs.
4SGSharpIntroduction to work process and functions
Preparation for measurement: Before starting the measurement, confirm that the high-purity germanium probe has cooled to the operating temperature. The first step in booting up the system is to connect it firstPLC power supply, then start the measurement control software, usually the software takes 5-15 seconds to initialize. If the high voltage of the probe has not been turned on yet (for example, multiple channels were turned off after the last measurement), SGSharp will automatically turn on the high voltage and need to stabilize for about 3 minutes before it can be measured. Considering the time required for PLC reset, it is recommended to wait for a 5-minute warm-up time after the system is powered on before starting the measurement.
The interface of SGSharp after startup is shown in Figure 2, consisting of four tabs: "Measurement", "Settings", "Report", and "Motion Control Test". Before starting the measurement, open the top cover of the lead chamber and place it in the waste bin. Then enter the "Settings" interface of the SGSharp program, check and confirm that the current settings comply with the measurement plan. Then switch to the "Measurement" interface, select the scanning mode (segmented scanning) by clicking the radio button, enter the body number of the waste bin and optional note information (if you forget to place the waste bin, this interface will flash in red font to prompt "Please place the waste bin"). Then click the 'Next' button.

The second page of the "Measurement" interface (as shown below) will display the current measurement setting parameters for the operator to confirm.clickNext, the SGSharp program enters automatic measurement mode (as shown in the figure below), controls the rotation and lifting of the waste bin through the PLC interface, and automatically collects the energy spectrum. It displays the energy spectrum content and measurement progress in real time, analyzes and calculates the energy spectrum, and automatically jumps to the last page of the measurement interface after the measurement is completed, displaying the measurement analysis report.

5、 Viewing and managing historical measurement data
Operators can view reports of historical measurement records and save them asPDF format for transmission or printing, and can also delete records that do not need to be retained. Switch to the "Report" tab, as shown in Figure 5.

Enter or select the start and end dates of the historical records to be queried, and then clickClick the "Query" button to view the measurement records that meet the criteria in the query result list. Click on the query record with the mouse, select the record of interest, and then click the "View Report" button to view the relevant measurement reports

clickThe 'Save as PDF...' button will save the report to a PDF file. Click the 'Delete Record' button to delete the selected query record. Attention: The deletion operation cannot be cancelled. Please proceed with caution and it is recommended to backup the working directory of the SGSharp program before deleting.
